Name Your Poison
The Washington Post published an article the other day about 10 mistakes that organizations make when it comes to using social media.
Why, it seems like just the other day that brasstackthinking.com offered up an article on 11 Lessons for Social Media's Future.
To be exact, the latter article was published on June 24 but the former article obviously made things more pithy by removing a whole bullet point. One article talked about things that happen in the passed (and present tense) while the other article appeared more forward-focused by projecting what will be and how to make the most of it.
My point is that this message of how and why and where and when to best use social media is a siren song. What has happened has happened and what will come will come. So much of any growth to occur in the realm of social media is common sense meets intuition meets right time at the right place meets a twist of lemon.
Or lime, if you prefer.
Good stuff.
